Leolandia, the largest amusement park in Italy, partnered with Animaccord in 2015 via our local licensing representative, Maurizio Distefano Licensing, for the development of a branded Masha and the Bear area in the park.
The first branded area was opened in 2016 and included 2 activities: photozone and baby-dance with Masha and the Bear walking mascots. The popularity of the branded zone among the visitors led to enlarging and re-launching the area with new rides, including a themed roller coaster specifically designed for children, and famous locations from the cartoon (e.g., Masha's house) in August, 2018. By the end of the season 2018, over 60% of the total park visitors came directly to Masha and the Bear zone.
