Masha and the Bear Reached Trillion Minutes of Watchtime on YouTube

The total content views on the platform hit 150 BILLION

Masha and the Bear, the beloved global YouTube phenomenon, continues to rise on the platform as it achieves astounding new milestones. The show's production company, Animaccord, is committed to delivering top-tier family animation content worldwide, and it has proven to be a resounding success with over total 150 billion content views and 230 million subscribers on YouTube.

In 2023, Masha and the Bear has performed a remarkable surge in its overall subscriber base, boasting a 50% growth rate compared to the previous year. In just eight months of this year alone, the brand has gained an astonishing 30 million new followers, surpassing the 20 million subscribers added in 2022. This extraordinary growth underscores the show's enduring popularity among viewers of all ages.

In addition to its subscriber growth, the brand's in-house managed channels have achieved a staggering accomplishment, accumulating over 1 trillion minutes of watchtime on YouTube. To put this in perspective, it equates to nearly 2 million years of viewing, dating back to a time when homo erectus first appeared on Earth.

Furthermore, Masha and the Bear has recently been honored with its seventh YouTube Diamond Creator Award. This prestigious recognition was earned by the show's Hindi channel, which crossed the remarkable milestone of 10 million subscribers. The Hindi channel now joins the ranks of previously awarded channels, including English, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Ukrainian, and Arabic, bringing the total number of YouTube Awards for the brand to an impressive 57 (7 diamond, 21 golden, 30 silver).

Other multi-language channels associated with Masha and the Bear are also achieving notable milestones. The Japanese channel, which was launched in 2021, has now crossed the 1 million subscriber mark, earning a well-deserved YouTube Gold Creator Award.
